When should I book in?

Brides: 8-10 weeks from your deadline

We recommend booking your initial fitting at least 8-10 weeks from the date you require your dress (wedding date or leave date if you are travelling for your wedding). This timeframe allows us enough time to complete your alterations and gives us a good idea of how your body will be on your wedding date.

With our 8-10 week turnaround we aim to have your dress ready to pick up 1-2 weeks prior to your deadline.
If you want to pick up earlier than this, please add extra time to your turn around.

RUSH ORDER SERVICE (BRIDAL)

Please note that if you are booking in under the recommended required time frame of 8 weeks out from your wedding or leave date, there will be additional rush order fees to complete in a shorter time frame. These fees will vary on the difficulty of the job and the time frame to be complete in.

Clothing or Suiting: at least 1 week from your deadline

We recommend booking your initial fitting at least 1 week from your event date / leave date. This allows us enough time to complete your alterations and have your items ready for pick up a few days before your deadline.

RUSH ORDER SERVICE (CLOTHING)

Under 24 hours turn around will incur a rush fee, which can range from $50-$150+ depending on the nature of the alterations.

How much do the alterations cost?

On average $700 to $2500

Our services typically range from $700 to $2500, taking into account factors such as the gown’s construction, the presence of lace, sequin or beading details, the number of layers, and the fit. Please keep in mind that these figures are approximate and may vary based on the specific requirements of your dress. Pricing will be determined at the time of your fitting and works will not proceed until approved and paid in full. We kindly request full payment at the end of your initial consultation, ensuring a smooth and stress-free alteration process.

CONSULTATION FEE

A $100 consultation fee is required to secure your booking and is deducted from your final invoice.

Please note that if you are booking in under the recommended required time frame of 8 weeks out from your deadline there will be additional rush order fees to complete in a shorter time frame. On average rush fees can range from $150 – $500+ depending on the difficulty of the job and the time frame to be completed in.

ADJUSTMENT FEES FOR WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS

To achieve the perfect fit during your fitting session, it’s best to be at your ideal size with no expected fluctuations. This ensures that your garment is tailored precisely to your measurements. Please note that significant changes are required due to weight fluctuations after the initial fitting, additional fees may apply to cover the cost of the extra adjustments.

How many appointments will I need?

Bridal: On average 2-3 fittings in total

Your consultation/initial fitting.
2nd Fitting: check alterations and hem measured.
Final Fitting: final check over and take home your dress.

Brining your shapewear and shoes will ensure your experience is streamlined and minimises your number of fittings.
Exact wedding shoes are required by the 2nd fitting.

Bookings for your following fittings are made at the conclusion of your appointments so you only need to book in for your 1st fitting.

Your consultation / initial fitting.
Pick Up: check alterations and take home

We will contact you when your items are ready for pick up.
Turn around for you clothing and suiting is about 1 week.

Can I bring more than 1 dress to my bridal fitting?

Absolutely, just let us know

If you have a second party dress for your hens or reception we can accommodate you fitting for both items within your 1 hour initial fitting. Just let us know in your booking notes. Maximum 1 additional outfit permitted.

If you are willing to share, we can also accommodate 1 other fitting for a member of your bridal party within your 1 hour fitting.

I'm not the ideal weight for my wedding, will this impact my alterations?

We recommend brides be at their ideal weight at their first fitting

To achieve the perfect fir during your fitting session, it’s best to be at your ideal size with no expected fluctuations. This ensures that your garment is tailored precisely to your measurements.

If you are planning to change closer to your wedding date, we recommend booking in under our standard 8 week turnaround time, to avoid adjustment fees, which could end up doubling your alterations cost. Our rush fees are a fraction of the total cost of our alterations cost and will save you time and money!

We can complete alterations as quickly as within 4 weeks. However, please note you will need to be available within those weeks for about 2-3 fittings.
